A Christmas miracle

I'm going to totally brag here a minute and tell you that I single-handedly got three kids plus myself ready for church on Sunday, got snacks ready and took pictures and still made it there only like ten minutes late. I exclaimed to myself that it was a Christmas miracle! I told everyone at church that Kelly is going inactive and everyone admired my dedication in coming as a single parent when really I was excited about 2 free hours of babysitting and getting to sing Christmas song (which I actually really love to do). {Kelly actually had to work really late or until really early, however you want to look at it, and you shouldn't judge anyway cause that's not the Christian thing to do.}

Watch out for this kid

Abe wanted his hat on backwards like his dad. He just happened to choose his plaid hat with ear flaps. Doesn't he kind of remind you of the kid in high school that everyone's afraid of cause he walks down the hall pushing kids into lockers. We're worried about that.

Do you see the problem here?

This is how Abe went to church. Can you guess what's wrong with this picture?

Conversation at dinner

Because of Kelly's work schedule, we rarely eat dinner together as a family. But lately (as in tonight) we've been trying to change that. So when Kelly got home we sat down for some tortellini soup I had made. To make this occassion all the more memorable I asked everyone to tell me the best part of their day and the worst part of their day. Here's how it went with
Abe:
Q: So what was the best part of your day, Abe?
A: You gave me candy.
Q: What was the worst part?
A: You gave me soup.

What's good about this baby...

It's so nice to have a boy look at you like he's drunk in love with you again.
